INFORMASI UMUM

TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN

1. Melalui kegiatan menulis, murid dapat menyusun teks prosedur tentang cara menjadi pemeriksa fakta yang andal di dunia digital dengan menggunakan struktur teks yang tepat (tujuan, langkah-langkah) dan kalimat imperatif.
2. Melalui kegiatan menulis teks prosedur bertema anti-hoaks, murid dapat menggunakan kalimat sederhana dan majemuk dengan unsur kebahasaan yang tepat, termasuk kalimat imperatif, untuk mengomunikasikan langkah-langkah secara runtut.

PETUNJUK UMUM

• Bacalah setiap instruksi dengan cermat sebelum mengerjakan.
• Kerjakan kegiatan secara berurutan dari Kegiatan 1 hingga Kegiatan 3.
• Gunakan bahasa Inggris yang jelas dan mudah dipahami dalam menulis teks prosedur.
• Perhatikan penggunaan kalimat imperatif (perintah) seperti: Check, Verify, Search, Compare.
• Diskusikan dengan teman jika ada kesulitan, lalu tuliskan hasil pemikiranmu sendiri.

Petunjuk Pengerjaan:

1. Read the three news headlines provided in the box below carefully.
2. Choose ONE news headline that you find interesting or surprising.
3. In the table, write down your initial reaction: Do you think the news is REAL or FAKE? Why?
4. List at least 3 clues or signs that make you suspicious or believe the news (language used, source, logic, etc.).
5. Discuss your answer with a partner, then write your final conclusion.

Petunjuk Pengerjaan:

1. Now you will plan a procedural text about 'How to Check If News is Real or Fake'.
2. Use the news you chose in Kegiatan 1 as your example case.
3. Fill in the planning template below step by step.
4. Think about: What is your GOAL? What MATERIALS do you need (tools/apps/websites)? What are the STEPS to verify the news?
5. Use imperative sentences (commands) like: Open, Check, Read, Compare, Search, Verify.
6. Write at least 4-5 steps in logical order.

Kegiatan 3: Writing Your Procedural Text: Draft and Edit

Petunjuk Pengerjaan:

1. Using your plan from Kegiatan 2, now write the FULL procedural text.
2. Your text must include: Title, Goal, Materials, and Steps (at least 4-5 steps).
3. Use simple and compound sentences. Mix short commands with explanations.
4. Example of simple sentence: 'Check the source.' Example of compound sentence: 'Check the source, and make sure it is from a credible news website.'
5. After writing your first draft, read it again and edit for: correct grammar, clear steps, logical order, and use of imperative verbs.
6. Write your final version neatly in the space provided or on a separate sheet.
