TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN

1. Murid dapat menulis ulang atau melanjutkan cerita fantasy 'The Multiverse Story of Timun Mas' dengan menggunakan kalimat sederhana dan majemuk yang memiliki struktur teks naratif dan unsur kebahasaan yang tepat.
2. Murid dapat mengungkapkan pendapat dan mempertahankan argumen tentang ending alternatif cerita fantasy yang telah mereka tulis secara lisan di depan kelas.

• Baca setiap instruksi dengan cermat sebelum mulai mengerjakan.

1. Sebelum menulis, kita perlu memetakan ide cerita agar tulisanmu terstruktur dan runtut.
2. Ingat kembali cerita 'The Multiverse Story of Timun Mas' yang telah kamu pelajari (Unit 3).
3. Bayangkan: bagaimana jika Timun Mas memasuki dimensi (universe) yang berbeda? Apa yang akan terjadi?
4. Isi tabel Story Blueprint di bawah ini untuk merancang cerita versimu sendiri.

Petunjuk Pengerjaan:

1. Gunakan Story Blueprint dari Kegiatan 1 sebagai panduan menulis.
2. Tulis ceritamu dalam Bahasa Inggris menggunakan struktur: Orientation → Complication → Resolution → Coda (jika ada).
3. Gunakan minimal 10 kalimat. Pastikan ada minimal 3 kalimat majemuk (compound sentences) menggunakan kata hubung: and, but, so, atau or.
4. Perhatikan penggunaan past tense (kata kerja bentuk lampau) karena ini adalah narrative text.
5. Setelah selesai menulis, periksa kembali tulisanmu dengan menggunakan Self-Check Checklist di bawah ini.
6. Kamu juga boleh memberi judul ceritamu sendiri yang kreatif!

Petunjuk Pengerjaan:

1. Saatnya tampil! Kamu akan mempresentasikan ending ceritamu di depan kelas.
2. Siapkan diri dengan membaca ulang bagian Resolution dan Coda dari ceritamu.
3. Saat presentasi, jelaskan: (1) siapa karakternya, (2) apa masalahnya, dan (3) mengapa ending-mu adalah pilihan terbaik.
4. Setelah presentasi, teman-temanmu akan memberikan pertanyaan atau tantangan. Kamu harus mempertahankan pilihanmu dengan alasan yang logis.
5. Gunakan kalimat-kalimat di Opinion & Argument Bank di bawah ini untuk membantumu berbicara lebih percaya diri.
6. Dengarkan presentasi temanmu dengan seksama dan catat informasi penting di tabel pengamatan.
